Website Restored!

The proximate cause of the webserver overload seems to have been some kind of fruitless but resource hogging spam bot attack, which I think we've dealt with. A couple of other minor issues, which have been dealt with by the webhost, may have been contributing factors.

I know everyone's post-fly-in enthusiasm may have waned a bit by now, but it would be great to have reports and pictures of that great event.

Also, please see the poll about the site first-aid kit (low in the left column when you're logged in).

Ken - Thanks for getting it up. Err, I mean up and running again. I really miss reading the great flight reports here. I had a blast at the fly-in even though I arrived late. I did get my first solo flights in since 1982 when I last flew. Granted it was just 2 20-second bunny hill hops for the L/D contest but that old feeling of foot launching came back. Hopefully, I'll be a regular at AJAP before too long on my F195.
Cheers, Jonathan

Nice to have it back again. Didn't realize how much I used it until it was gone. Thanks Ken!

Thanks Ken

Ken, thanks for telling the hosting company how to fix our site.

I've always found that situation harder than just having to fix something myself.

Until you don't actually check a site three or four times a day you don't miss doing so. Thank you for the help, Ken. Now I won't find myself staring at the weather page looking for the link to the forum or the Oz report, although I must confess I look at hangglide.org more nowadays. It's a bit like clean porn, and now I'm air-horny again, dammit! See you in the air! Joel work to live, don't live to work
