Alan CSS Toy Drive, Saturday Dec. 16, 2006We're having our annual toy drive on Saturday December 16. We collect unwrapped toys for all ages and add them to the nearby fire station's toy gathering efforts. The firefighters bring a truck out to the LZ and we get to interact in a non-emergency situation. We haven't seen them much this year, which is a good thing! New Business: Tractor purchase, share with USHGF? 18K? 9 September 2006 - Andy Jackson Memorial Fly-InMark your calendars The annual Andy Jackson Memorial Fly-In is coming up Saturday, September 9, 2006 (the weekend after Labor Day). We're gonna' wrap up the Summer with another great day of flying, Santa Ana winds permitting. We can usually count on the first weeks of September being flyable, but with the unusual weather we've had so far this season, who knows? Double D's BBQ will be cooking the grub again - burgers, dogs, and hot links this time. They did a great job at the Anniversary fly-in, so come hungry. Di says no raffle this time, but there'll be another fun contest and lots of music and pilots, friends and family.
