20070218 - Groundspeed and Altitude Depictions![]() SeeYou overhead depictions of the flight on a very windy day. Kind of looks like a figure, almost, if you squint. If you're logged-in, you can click the image to see it at full 1000x573 resolution - click the 'original' link, below/right. Making the above image inspired me to try making a cross-eyed-stereo view of my two flights. I used Google Earth, for the photo quality. The effect is rather striking. I think the optimum angle is 6 degrees and the centers may need to be closer, too.
