Board, Bus, and Fly. 2-1-2010

Started by skateboarding to the M.A.R.T.A. bus stop at 40th and Waterman.
It arrived at 10:40 am and for $4.00 I was dropped off at Top town.
Then a 1.5? mile hike to launch (slightly uphill non-skateboard) Flew my Paraglider for well over an hour with a trip to Pine and a top landing.
Wrapped up the day around 4pm in the LZ.

The Marta people wouldn't let me load a hang glider on their bus. A possible work around would be to drive to launch fly and then get to the bus stop by 4:40 or 7:30* to retrieve the car.
*(7:30 Not offered Saturday and no services on Sunday)

Well done Dusty! Makes me want to do my PG training sooner than later. I hope to join you in one of these endeavors some day or better yet, we'll meet in the air from opposite ends of the San Gabriel/San Bernardino ranges.
