wow!

Nice video and music! 20 minutes flew by! Great job Rod!! Sorry about the WTF episode.

Ditto

Rod, you must really have you head screwed on well to get such steady helmet cam shots. ;-) Excellent videologue and great soundtrack. Who's that band?

skakey cam

Jon, I didn't have the morning brew yet, so the noggin was still steady.

The bands are:
Club Foot - Kasabian
Save Me & Impossibility - Remy Zero
Exit Music for a Film - Radiohead
I got a vibe & Fall on It - Deepakalypse

Do You Do Bar Mitvah's?

If I had a kid, I'd ask you to DJ! :-)

Wow says it all!

Great video! Brought back great memories of my trip the previous week and I'll be planning another trip up soon.

Sorry to see the crash. I broke my wing in about the same place after trying a little contruction work on that infamous Crestline deck! The good news is the repair doesn't look too bad. The bad news is that it took WW about 2 months to do the sail work.

:)

We actually saw you guys driving back, somewhere on the freeway in Utah.

Way to get back on the horse.

Bummer about the wing but good to see you're back in the game.

wow again!

Dave, your vids just keep getting better!

Nice!

Great video, sorry I wasn't able to hook up with you guys when you were here. Next time you can crash at my house 2 min from the north and south side. See you guys soon at Marshall.

Red Devil

Sorry the Red Devil had to take so much abuse on this outting.
Hope it's back in the air by this weekend!

Out of commission

I think the Red Devil will be out of service for a month or so. Rob's fixing it while I'm in NY over the next couple of weeks.

More video

Here's a youtube video from a local utah pilot named Cal (as in CAL from hanggliding.org). Cal is probably one of the nicest people on the entire planet of earth. He's zen mellow, and at the same time super hard core. Cal lives 90 miles away from the point and was usually pulling up about 10 minutes after we got out of the tents... at 5:45 in the morning!

His video narrations are in the style of the Warren Miller ski movies we all grew up watching on Wide World of Sports.

Great guy!!
