6/291st flight from Marshall 10:45 waited 15min for it to blow in watched some nice virga behind mts. Clear sky you could see the schmeg in pockets around the valley. Hit some lift out front but mostly sledded. Noonish things were organised and I left lift at 5000ft in my first Sport2-175 flight. Nice glider in the rough air. 3rd flight at 1:30, (guessing) had to core sink to get down after a 15min check of a Sport. Stress-free is how Sports do everything. 4th from the 750 2:40 in a Tandem?? Now that is too big and it was windy and with no turns and a 100ft gain I headed out to try and even up on spots but geeked by going to uprights on my final which doesn't leave you much control my hands were sweaty I ended up in a 120deg wingover just kidding but I was way short of the spot. Beat rush-hour, home by 4:30. I thought it would be hot but it was pleasant under 50% clouds. Forums > Pilot Reports |
