9K elsinoreIt's really funny not having a regular LZ. The reality is that there are like a billon places to land from an easy glide from launch. Add over a mile of verticle altitude and it gets complicated. I don't think there was more than 4 pilots in any peticular LZ. Some went for grass and some went for shade. Some went for shade and grass and Jerry flew his falcon 20+ miles. It was really well organized. Cars left in stratigic locations and with radios and cell phones, everyone got picked up quick. And you know what, there wasn't one driver today. Forums > Pilot Reports Flight > HG Sites > Elsinore people meet everywhere.The best way to get a ride up is to park at the church across from the oak tree LZ. I would recommend getting there by 10:30.
