Fri 6/19

Good flying conditions for extended flights. No really high altitudes reported. Approximately 10 hangs and two or three PG's.
Launches started at around 3pm. I launched at 3:15 climbed 100 over and then flew down to Billboard with those that had launched before. Didn't find even a hint of lift on the way sank down below ridge. Got lower and lower in the canyon then headed for
Regionals. Got there with little altitude left. Found a tight core
and circled in it for sometime. Got to 6000 and headed back to Crestline. When I got there found one that took me 500 over Billboard. Lots of traffic there so I headed east. Loads of sink encountered so I turned around and got flushed on way back to Billboard. Returned to Regionals where nothing was happening.
Searched for a flight saver, and finally found one in front of Cloud very low. Circled for long time finally getting above Marshall. At the 2 hr mark called it quits and went out to land.
Nice friedly winds in LZ. Came in a little high and stuffed the bar on final. Wing sank pretty good and made a nice full flare.
Wing stalled and I parachuted from about 6 ft to the ground just
inside the grass. Landed flat footed on solid rock which jolted me pretty good. Thanks to Doug, Brent, and Mark for assisting me with my flight.
P.S.
Brent was the Skygod of the day with 2 1/2 hrs on his Supersport a personal best on a Hang.
