Good day at Elsinore, 10-8-08We arrived at launch at 11:15. John Pitt and Brian Dahl were already there and setting up. John Pitt launched at 11:30 and just barely hung out at 300' over for about an hour before it finally started going off. Mitch launched at 12:30, followed quickly by me and Brian Dahl on our PG's and 'Beer me Chucky' on his HG. John had gone NW to Rad Dan's and he got up over there. The rest of us got up around the E launch. John flew to Highland. (He was heading for Andy Jackson). I topped out at 8650' msl. Brian left at 7K and went NE and ended up just short of San Jacinto, in the town of Nuevo. The rest of us stayed in the area, (sorta). At least we all ended up back at Elsinore. I landed at home after just short of 2 hours. Mitch top landed after 2.5 hrs, and Chucky landed in the field at Grand Av and Riverside drive. We all got to the mid 8K's. Pretty easy flying too. Nothing sharp or sudden. I like that. Over all, a good day at Elsinore. Forums > Pilot Reports Flight > PG Sites > Elsinore |
