The SHGA has scheduled the Dahlsten Cup Fly-In for Saturday 9/13/08 - one week after the CSS Fly-in.

Activities vary from year-to-year but have included an Open Class and Sport Class competion with GPS scoring, a Chili Cookoff, spot landing contest, stated duration flight, and more.

There is no fee to participate.

The SHGA's day use fee is $5 but is pretty much an on-your-honor pay basis - no one is actively monitoring payment. If you honestly forget to pay - oh well. If you intentionally don't pay - you're a "real piece of work".

Lunch/dinner usually consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, assorted snacks, chili, etc. A donation jar is usually out (but not always) and the money collected sometimes covers the actual cost of the food. If you honestly forget to make a contribution - oh well. If you intentionally don't ... (you get the picture). You're always welcome to cook your own food if you like - plenty of room on the BBQ.
