Crestline Soaring Society

Micky and I arrived at launch at 11:00 thinking it would blow down early. Found it blowing straight in on The E at 5-8 mph. It was about 50/50 clouds/sun. I launched at 11:45 and went to the house thermal, middle bump and the E cone. Got to 4K msl pretty quick and played the up and down game for awhile. Kinda bumpy. Finally got close enough to the clouds to get some cloud suck and went into the white room at 5800' msl. WOW. I was alone up there so I wasn't worried about running into someone in there. I worked it to 6090' msl and then pulled my Ears to get down out of there. When I got to where I could see again I saw three hang gliders playing down low, (3500'?). I flew under the clouds and watched all 3 land. I took care of a 'fluid management issue' and flew around for a total of 2 hrs and 15 min. It was still blowing in at 1:45 when I landed at the LZ. One hang got into the lower wispies but the other 2 only got about 4K the whole time. Good flights and landings for everyone.
