Crestline Soaring Society

Both days were very similar. I launched at 12 on Sun and it blew down 10 min later. Worked the usual thermals to 6K'msl. Flew from one spot to another then went to land and got a great low save off of the 'A' frame house that took me to 5500' msl out over the lake. Waved at the jump plane a couple of times. Finally landed in wind blowing down at 10-15 after 1 hour and 50 min. Lots of people went lots of places. One San Diego PG pilot made it to Soboba as did one of our local hangs. But he was put to shame when Dawg Gone Bill flew all the way back from Soboba. Today it blew down a little later, around 1:15. I was off at noon. and played around 5K most of the time. Got to 5600' msl once. Good hour and 50 min flight. Landed in the blowing down wind at 10-15 easily. Thanks again Joe!
