Crestline Soaring Society

I arrived at The E launch at 12:45. I had to hurry because it was blowing down out behind launch. Worked the house thermal and the E cone to 5K. 650 fpm lift. Flew for 50 min. Had a great landing at the tree LZ. I then packed up and went to Soboba. We arrived at launch at 4:00 and I launched at 4:30 into smooth lift that took me right up over the top of the towers to 4100'msl. Good thermals at 500 fpm every 15 min. kept all four of us up easily. Was able to practice some manuevers and get right back up. It was the usual super smooth air that allowed for very easy flying. Weight shift steering. Flew the whole range. Great landing at the LZ at 6:45. 2 hours and 15 min. Cold beverages and great stories with good friends afterwards.
