Humility is Kickin My Ass

This whole weekend looks like good flying, and here I sit with a wrecked truck. KEE-RAP!!! The day after my best flight (Tuesday), I was thoroughly humbled, and wrecked on the way home. Thank God the other driver is unhurt. The insurance people say it's a total loss, and I didn't even pop the airbag!
If anyone knows of a glider carrier going to Andy Jackson on Friday or Saturday passing through Victorville, please let me know. Hoping I can talk Rob into a short-term storage, until I can get my truck rolling again, with a remounted rack. HELL, I got the rack fixed before I heard from the insurance people. It may be ugly when I'm done, but all the lights work, the radiator is ok, and I'm damned if Met Life gets to screw me over. If I don't make it down there, all of you have great flights.
O.K., no more whining....Thanks, Joel

Glad you're not hurt, Joel.

Glad you're not hurt, Joel. If Rob doesn't have room there may be another temporary option or two.

Good Flying,
Ken Howells

Dang

Sorry about your Truck. The air gods will grant you three high altitude flights soon.....

Ack

Hope you are okay physically, seems like it.

Renting space from Rob is a good gig. I'd also recommend grabbing a spot for the World's Loudest Falcon™©® in the storage container, accident or no accident. The convenience and reduced wear and tear on your wing are well worth it.
