Good News!!

Good news everyone! The kids are nearly 2 years old now, so they're old enough to stay at grandma and grandpa's place while we fly, and we finally resolved our hang glider transportation issue. We sold the HG truck when the kids were born and didn't have a way to get all four of us plus wings to the LZ. Looks like we're going to park our gliders in the LZ container and we should be out flying VERY VERY soon!!!!!!

I can't wait to see y'all again soon! If it's sunny, we might try and bring the wings out tomorrow.

Hell that's GREAT news!

It's about time! Meg says she can't wait to fly with her girlfriend...(with the purple glider)

Welcome Back

Rod and Gwen, It will be

Rod and Gwen,

It will be great to see you again, much time has passed.

WHAT?

What is it with you people? Haven't you ever heard of closets? Just pop the little noisemakers in, lock the door and GO FLY! Sure the 2 hours of crying followed by an hour of whimpering is hard to deal with, but you'll be GONE! It worked for my kids and they didn't grow up to be something inherently evil like serial killers, lawyers, telemarketers or even paraginas! These are their formative years. Ya gotta train em right!

P.S. Welcome back!

We tried!!

We brought the gliders out today with the intention of just bringing them out today, but I threw in a harness "just in case." We actually made it to the top of Marshall but it was 90-cross switching to the occasional upslope puff. If rain weren't threatening I'm sure I would have gone for the sledder. But we could see the rain 10 miles away, so the glider stayed on the car. :-(
Floaty will have to make his triumphant return next weekend when everyone is around!
Little Pierce and Taj can do high fives and knuckle pounds... but it looks like we need to teach them "the claw" so that they can give a proper hang glider pilots' greeting.
Great to see everyone. We'll be out regularly now. Wooooo hooooo!

BTW Stan, do you mind babysitting next weekend?

Great Seeing You At The LZ

I thought you'd just dropped off gliders and bailed.

Deciding NOT to fly is never the wrong decision.

Good Flying,

viva las floaty

2 years? time flies faster than a running 2 yr old. saturday the 2nd windy but flyable. welcome back.

paraginas

Headed to Marshall around 11am and arrived just as the clouds dissipated. Got 2 flights in before the rain for a total airtime of 1 hour 22 minutes. Those paraginas sure can be fun!

Aw shucks, folks. I can't take the credit for that one. That's a Randy-ism.
