Wed 2/6/08 A Little Midweek Puttering Around

Checked Rob’s weather page between classes and saw it was flyable. Rode the McBus to Marshall and launched a little after 2:00. Some scratching required but thermals were available enough at Marshall, Cloud and Regionals to get an hour without much difficulty. Had to land and get back to class. Got to 4600 once, but didn’t manage to stay there for long. Wayne in his PG got more air, launching before me and landing after. Temperature was quite pleasant. Noticed the flag on cloud showing southeast much of the time. Easy landing into light south wind in the LZ.
Thanks to the Hang Goddess for turning it upslope today. Could you do that on the weekend too please?

I can't name one teacher I have had over the years that could say they went Hang gliding between classes.

Way Cool Mike!

Maybe I would have listened more in class if I had.
