Elsinore Launches ClosedE-Teamer Mike Hilberath sends this important notice: ALL, The launches, both the E and Edwards are closed right now. Not because of the court battle, but because THE CLEVELAND NATIONAL FOREST IS CLOSED. Once the fires have died down and the smoke has cleared, I am sure that since we have a SUP with the Forest Service, we will be again allowed to use the launches. I got a phone call from the local forester today. IF YOU ARE FOUND USING THE LAUNCHES AT THIS TIME, YOU WILL BE CITED. And I do not know how much the ticket will cost. Remember, the forest is CLOSED to all users, not just the hang glider pilots. Thanks in advance for your understanding and compliance to the forester's rules.
