Half A'LadderWANTED--one half of a 18ft or 20ft aluminum ladder for my roof rack project. Gotta have a rack ready when Santa downloads my wings. And light, rigid fairings to streamline the down tubes of us Round Tube Fliers, who maybe can't afford the fancy stuff at first.... Capacity & FairingsWell, my 2WD V6 Tacoma carries 4 gliders and pilots out to Marshall without complaining. Using instrument fairings with a single-surface glider might compensate for the drag from a small fraction of the exposed crossbar, but hey, knock yourself out. Why not use BOTH halves of
Why not use BOTH halves of an extension ladder side-by-side so you can carry more gliders? Makes turnarounds a lot quicker and easier. Single-glider racks are clearly anti-social and Santa doesn't like them either...
