It appears that we will be able to resurrect the USFS Volunteer program of 2 years ago. This is where a small group of pilots have been trained and uniformed by the USFS to escort pilots through the locked areas. In return we are asked to help patrol on the ground and in the air for any illegal entry into the closed areas. At this point HWY 18 is still closed so access to the Marshall gate and to Crestline launch is not possible.
