8/29 CrestlineI was gonna go into work but after reading the MKforcast I decided to go flying. Good decision. Launched Crestline 1:30ish. It was cool and nice at 8K @ 2PM. I drifted east, pimping Hoffman's finds, thanks for that Mark, pretty cool how I cored that sink while you were climbing @ 1000fpm huh? Almost no inversion, just a few low pockets in the valleys. Some guys made the clouds I guess that was over ten grand, and Barmakian was 60miles out and way high last I heard... At 4PM there were PGs playing I guess everyone who flew had a great day. Didn't feel that hot even in the LZ. Forums > Pilot Reports Maybe another...I'm going to be at the LZ around noon or earlier if anyone is interested. Could be another fun day! Fun Day
My wife took a tandem with Rob and understands my obsession better now (but not enough to learn herself).
Here are some pics of Kim and Dave at Pine. Dave had a heckuva day, I was always looking up at him. Kim seemed pretty dialed in, too.
Fun stuff, 'specially for Falcons. I'm coming up with all kinds of alibis to be out tomorrow.
