Thanks Diane and RobDiane did a great job of getting all of us up to Marshall after some mechanical problems with the McBus. I was at the LZ with no ride reservation with about 10 other folks waiting for the 4:30 McBus trip or next best option. Shortly after 4pm it was apparent that the McBus decided it would take a rest break and did not want to go up to Marshall. In about 10 minutes Diane organized rides for everyone who wanted to fly to get to Marshall. I think that all student flights and training occured on schedule and all who planned to fly got to Marshall Peak on time. I had a short flight but a very respectible landing on the HG. Thanks Rob and Diane for a another great response to a tough turn of events. Also, thanks to all the pilots for pulling together to make it happen especially Mike Meirs (WW) for taking 3 of us to Marshall. All of that after helping me launch at a fairly windy Crestline and slowbie me was last off the hill, patient as always, though I knew she was running late (but I've learned th hard way to ask for help if you need it). If you could clone R&D's helpful genes, the world would be a better place.
