Well, the NWS is calling for North winds starting tonight after the trough passes, with N to NE for Thursday. For Friday they say "North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south."

There might be some serious altitude to be had on Friday!
You'd want to launch before the marine layer arrives.

I'll definitely be giving serious consideration to flying on Friday (assuming I have a productive day in the codemines on Thursday).
