Santa Barbara contest during Presidents Day Weekend!There is an open invitation to all pilots to come and join the Santa Barbara Soaring Association for an annual contest calle.... "The Contest". It's looking like weather conditions will probably be EPIC for next weekend after the rains pass through this weekend and early next week. Check out the SBSA website, www.sbsa.info to download the rules and guidlines for this competition. There are many events, for all abilities of HG and PG pilots, and good times with the local crew. Turnpoints or KMZ Available?
Thanks for posting this here James.
I looked over the pdf of all the contest details - there's a lot going on! Any chance of getting a list of coordinates for all those turnpoints, or better yet a Google Earth kmz file with the turnpoints in it?
The diagrams in the pdf are clear, but they depend on one already knowing the terrain to appreciate the tasks.
