Mon. 7/3/06 - 9:30 AM Inversion at 2800 MSL

Went up 2N40 this morning. At about 2800 MSL (according to GPS) I entered a decidedly cooler and breezier layer of air - at least it wasn't absolutely still like below that.
The top of the smog layer across the valley was at about eye-level. FWIW.

There have been some high, thin cirrus layers mitigating the pounding sun from time to time.
