Elsinore, Sat, the 1st of July

Wow! What a great day. The conditions where perfect at The E. Launched at 11:30 into 10 mph staight in. Got to about 9K msl back behind the E launch. John Pitt left first at 9K and Jerome and Mark left 2nd. I followed. Heading east.
Went to Cyn Lake and tanked up to inversion level.(Cold). Went to Quail Valley and got up again and took the long jump to Romoland before getting another good one.
Went past Home land and turned north. (Warren road). Tanked up there and headed across the flats towards Soboba. Caught one more that gauranteed a glide to Soboba. Found the wind totally cross there. Got bumped around good on two thermalls to 1K over the towers. Went to land after that. Put it down in the soft sand of the river bed. Sweet.
Landed at 3:00, for 3.5 hrs flight.
A new best for me.

Pictures

That was a lot of fun going with you Mike, John and Mark.
I measured the distance between launch and Soboba LZ with Google earth and it is 26.8 miles.

Some picture I took...
