Tim lost his year-long battle with cancer on March 14, 2006.
He took great care of the Andy Jackson Airpark, putting his efforts into both Club projects and purely voluntary improvements, such as the hiking trail up to the 750 launch. Our flying site wouldn't be what it is today without all the work Timmy did.
Tim flew a variety of hang gliders, and flew them well - he may well have never taken out a downtube.
There was a memorial service for Tim at the Airpark on April 1, 2006, followed by a gathering at a local pizza place.
