There will be a HG and PG spot landing contest at the party. Winner of each gets a prize, and we will have a cash side pot for anyone interested.
1. All pilots are entered, prize TBD.
2. There will be a money side pot for both PG and HG. $5.00 buy-in, sign up in LZ.
3. Multiple flights are OK.
4. Closest to the HG/PG cone wins.
5. Pilots must stay on their feet after landing.
6. PG: your spot is where your feet first touch.
7. HG: Must come to a stop with no exaggerated runs. Score is the furthest point from the cone of the entire run/stop. Example landing 20' before the spot and running 8' past = score of 20'. Landing 8' before the spot and running 20' past and score= 20'. Must stay on feet and no basetube or nose contact, wingtips and rear keel OK.
8. If the judge is busy measuring someone else and you need to clear the LZ, drop a glove or something unobtrusive for a marker.
9. Fly a safe pattern. Don’t cut anyone off.
10. Time window of contest is 4PM to 6:30PM. May be extended if too strong for PG.
11. Pilots must fly their respective landing patterns. Violating your half of the LZ on approach means disqualification.
12. Judge can be bribed (prefers imported beer).
