Lake Silverwood from 7000ft MSL Dave at about 7000ft MSL over Pine looking north at Lake Silverwood. Dave over the turn out Dave at about 6500 ft MSL over the Crestline turn out Elsinore 9-3-08Wow! What a day. I arrived at launch at 12:20. Nice launch conditions. I took off at 12:50 and pretty much went straight up. 15 minutes into the flight I was at 8500' msl. Nice clouds forming made it real easy to go anywhere I wanted. Lot smoother than usual. I found some relativly smooth 1K fpm going up behind launch under a cloud forming. I got to 9330' msl on that one. I flew NW past 'school bus ridge'. |
