archivesWednesday August 19, 2008Launched Marshall in 8-10 kts of wind at around 2:30. Got a small bump up after launch but nothing really workable at the house thermal. Tried to milk any ridge lift in front of launch but after one pass I headed toward cloud and the 750. Hooked into a small tight core over the 750 and worked it to 4200. Over to Regionals, found a few disorganized bubbles then a decent one to 5200 which drifted behind the ridge between Cloud and Marshall. Tried to work it back to Crestline but hit big sink on the lee side of Marshall and decided to work back in front. Very punchy with slack wires at times. Fly Fri ? !Who's gonna fry fliday?
