Fourth of July at Elsinore

I arrived at launch with 2 other PG pilots at 11:30. There were 3 HG's there setting up already. I saw the back flag switch to blowing down. So I launched first at 12:10, followed pretty quick by everyone else. Turns out we didn't need to launch that early as it continued to blow in for another hour that I know of. It was pretty easy to get up. We had made plans to land on the 'island' on the lake where all the boats congregate. Must have been 200 of them.

HG article in Crestline paper

I was talking to some visitors at the Crestline launch on Friday. One said there was an article about our club in the local paper. Can anyone reproduce it here?

It was a nice flying day. Topped out at 6800+.

Hours of Fly-In

Just offhand, what would be the approximate hours of the Andy Jackson Fly-In be? My wife expressed an interest in coming but doesn't want to be stuck for a long time with nothing to do. She has offered to bring down a display of her jewelry to give pilots with guilty consciences a chance to butterup their women, and contribute 10% of the take to the club. I am unsure if it would be appropriate, but thought it might add a bit of variety. If it's a no-go, she won't be offended.
