Crestline Soaring Society

Similar to everyday this week so far. 1 hr 25 min. 7350' msl max altitude. Flying the clouds. Strong lift, 850 fpm up. Launched at 1:00 today. Called the burger joint at the corner of 74 and Grand from 5000' msl and ordered a burger to go in an hour. Worked out great. Not as bumpy as the last two days. The edges of the thermals weren't as sharp. P3 day. Could have followed the shear all the way to Hemet/Soboba. I will be in the Elsinore LZ by 11:30 tomorrow. Hope to see you there.

Serious wire snaps. My max altitude was 7350 approximately 200ft above clouds. Everyday Mike managed 7400. Lost sight of him
when he got under a pretty sweet cumi. Took off around noon. Back flag had been waffleing down. Launch flag died once then reinstated. Good launch caught the house thermal and never looked back. About 2:15 decided to land, but shear was in the middle of LZ, so I thermaled up over the lake and boated around until the LZ
