Crestline Soaring Society

In general a pretty good day. Three hanggies and Everyday made 9000. Two Divers ended up in LZ a little early. Loads of excitement when Marcus came back to LZ to land. Water spout rose off end of lake while Marcus was attempting to lose altitude for landing. He had deployed a drouge way high in order to bleed off altitude. The Water spout turned into a major dust devil which came across highway and started up the LZ. We hung on to the two gliders in the LZ for dear life. Almost lost a litespeed with two unwilling passengers. Marcus was right over the field and when the dust cleared he was no where to be found. We got in the cars and went searching to find him in a field close to the shore line. No damage, but I'm sure if anyone has an extra pair of shorts he
