archivesApril 28th.......What a day!!!!!!Anyone that doesn't hang glide is crazy! CRASH CORBIN tangles with a tree...Seems as though Steve got hammered East of the dump,just short of Running Springs yesterday,and headed out but didn't make it...had to put it into a large tree...then slid off the tree and hit very hard. (back injuries) The doctors at Loma Linda want to operate. If anyone wants to visit Steve....Floor 8200 Room #41 Marshall 750, 29 Aprill 08A nice soarable day. Took a couple of HG flights from the 750 in the middle of the day. The second flight was fun because I got up from over the LZ (shortly after launch) with a Falcon Tandem and ended up flying for 1:07, going back to to Crestline and then getting to 6500 in a thermal from Marshall Peak.
