A great day here at Elsinore today. Thanks to everyone who came out.
took a flight at 1:00 and worked little thermals all the way to the LZ in 30 min. Went back up and relaunched at 2:30. I got a few hundred over and worked at that for while. Then the shear line came thru and we went UP. One got 8K+, another 7.8K, I got 7.5K. Hang gliders and paragliders everywhere. Afternoon glass set-up too. Hard to get down. I was at 6K over the lake for an hour in a huge 2-300 fpm convergence. Did a high G spiral dive and lost 200' feet. Got to do lots of different manuevers. Had a great landing at the tree in the LZ where there were lots of people, stories and cold adult beverages.
