archivesElsinore Apr 4thMyself and a hang pilot arrived at the E at 12:30. The back flag was blowing down pretty good, but it was still blowing in on launch. I hurried and got ready and launched at 12:40. Birds everywhere. Got right up at the corner house thermal. I went to 5500' msl in just a few minutes. It blew down around 1:00, and the hang got stuck on launch. The convergence came through and I got over 7K. I went over to the north shearline and followed it over to the 15 freeway.
