Marshall, 29 Feb. 08

It was sunny from the get-go in North San Bernardino, but thick marine layer stuff points south and west. Almost no wind all day, and as the marine layer pushed in and up it just got more and more stable. Mostly sleds with the occasional phantom thermal bump. Inversion reached Marshall level between 12:30 and 13:00.

What was amazing was the number of pilots out to fly! There were Canadian PGers, there were Belgians of both types, there were locals from all over, and there was the test crew.
