Crestline Soaring Society

Rode up on the 11:00 McBus to Marshall because the 1:00 was full. PGs and HGs that launched before me where doing pretty well. Got off the hill at 12:15 and flew a little less than 2 hours. Found it fairly easy to stay up at Marshall and Cloud but not much luck elsewhere. Slipped in and out of thermals much of the time. Mostly saw less than 400 fpm but around 1:45 stayed in some 600+ stuff to climb 1000 ft. in front of Marshall. My vario usually showed temp around 50 degrees. Got to 5000 once where it felt a bit colder.
