Better than the Forecast!
Arrived at the Edwards launch at 11:50 to find it blowing in at 3-5 mph from the NE. Kinda straight in from the right. LOL. No birds. We had a wind dummy that flew and sank 3 times before we finally started launching at 1:15. (he got lucky with the ride thing). Wayne appeared to get the highest at 5300 something. He made a great top landing to drive 3 visiting PG's truck down. He flew awesome too. John Pitt flew also and he spec'd out too. A rigid wing hang and a flex wing hang flew from Kagel also flew and did great. Those ATOS can fly! I got 2 hrs and 15 min including a 5 min top landing, to let Wayne know I would go ahead and fly down. What a great guy.
