Crestline Soaring Society

It was a perfect Autumn day. Launched about 1pm from Marshall and could easily get +1000 feets over then jump back to Creatline and ridge soar with HGs, go along the ridge to Arrowhead and then back to Marshall. Total airtime 2+ hours, max altitude 5850

Former airpark neighbor Daniel Cerda has passed away, his brother informs us; he declined to state the cause. Dan lived in the house on the elevated lot just north of the parking lot - the house was burned to the ground in the Old Fire of Oct. 2003. Dan wasn't a pilot, but he hung out at the LZ a lot, becoming good friends with Tim Curtis, among others. Dan was a good guy, our condolences to his loved ones.
