Crestline Soaring Society

Remember about a year+ ago they were filming a movie at the Cliffhanger restaurant on Hwy 18? Well, that movie was "Next" with Nicolas Cage, Julianne Moore, and Jessica Biel. I rented the DVD because it sounded good and I wanted to see how recognizable the Cliffhanger was. Any pilot who's flown over it a time or two will recognize it from many angles. Fun to see.

It's a pretty good sorta-sci-fi action flick, based on a story by Philip K. Dick (which I haven't read). Other movies based on PKD stories or novels are "Blade Runner", "Total Recall", and "Minority Report" - I've got a dozen PKD novels on my bookshelf so it's no surprise that I liked the movie.
