Crestline Soaring Society

Expected moderate North winds, but the graphs showed stillness for hours and hours in the morning. Flew three Falcon Tandems (solo) from the 750, soared on the last flight at 13:00.

A bulldozer had torn up the surface of dirt road 2N40 pretty roughly as he went up. We had to stand on the bumper of the truck at one point to get the truck and trailer up a steep soft part. We could see his dust cloud from the 750, up a few switchbacks. There was a grader up there too, and presumably they were making it smooth and nice on the way down (for good water-truck access to the new tank?).
